The Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB, A*STAR) invites you to the Singapore Symposium on Brain-Body Interactions (SSBBI) 2025.

Inaugurated in 2007 and held annually, SSBBI (originally named Singapore Symposium on Metabolic Diseases) has been a forum to bring together world experts in the broad areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolic diseases to share their latest research findings and insights. The event also serves as a platform for the invited speakers and participants to meet and forge collaborations with local scientists. In 2024, the symposium was rebranded as the Singapore Symposium on Brain-Body Interactions (SSBBI) to reflect the significant expansion of the contents and the themes of the conference. This year’s event will be held on 23-24 Oct and will comprise 12 overseas speakers. The topics to be discussed at the symposium will span from basic science to clinical research and cover research topics in neuroscience, metabolism, novel technologies, and brain-body interactions.

Gerald SHULMAN (Yale Univ.), Jia LI (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Huating LI (Shanghai Jiaotong Univ.), Yu FU (IMCB, A*STAR), Duanqing PEI (Westlake Univ.), Xiaoyong YANG (Yale Univ.), Jae Bum KIM (Seoul National Univ.), Aimin XU (Hong Kong Univ.), Jongsoon LEE (Soonchunhyang Institute of Medi-bio Science), Matthew HIRSCHEY (Duke Univ.), Joon Ho Moon (Seoul National University Bundang Hospital), Yang XIA (Central South Univ.)
